Eyes Wide Open

Images by: Terrell
Post & Edit by: Kym

The 49ers opened their 2012 season…
On the road.
In Lambeau.
Packers:  20+ game home win streak
49ers: 8 straight loses to GB

Unfazed, the 49ers went in and owned the green & gold.
Out the gate.
On both sides of the ball.
Relentless, fearless, & dominant.
Those in attendance witnessed a street fight on turf.

The theme of this blog jumped out at me as I went through game images. One of the things you see in still photography that you don’t always get to see in video, are details. That detail is found in the eyes. Why? Because the eyes tell a story.

The following game images captured by Terrell Lloyd depict the raw emotion of the game: Intensity from the guys in the trenches; to the relaxed eyes of Alex Smith before a release; & the eyes searching for the next block, lane, sack or move both on and off the field and even the ones you can’t see behind a dark face mask.
